Meet Amar: Founder & Expert Guide Coordinator

Amar is a proud Amazigh (Berber) from the Atlas Mountains. Though his family lived a traditional nomadic life, he was fortunate to attend school and build a remarkable career. From a young age, he spent his school holidays guiding travelers from all over the world, an experience that sparked his lifelong passion for tourism.

He went on to work as a tour guide with several respected Moroccan travel companies before moving to Europe to pursue a Master’s degree in Tourism. Amar lived and worked in different countries for 14 years, traveling extensively and gaining a deep understanding of life abroad. His global experiences taught him the common challenges visitors face when traveling: navigating new languages, unfamiliar customs, and cultural differences.

With this crucial insight, he moved back to his homeland Morocco and founded We Are Morocco Tours Travel Agency to ensure every visitor enjoys a genuine, unique, and truly enriching holiday. As a Moroccan expert with a strong understanding of international cultures, Amar designs each trip with care. Combining local knowledge with global awareness, he creates tailor-made itineraries that promise you a professional, thoughtful, and perfectly crafted travel experience that matches your needs and expectations.

Born into a nomadic family in the Sahara Desert, Ismail grew up surrounded by vast dunes and rich traditions before settling in a small village where he attended school. From an early age, he connected with travelers passing through his region, sparking his passion for sharing Morocco with the world.

With over 10 years of driving experience across Morocco, Ismail knows every corner of the country. He speaks English, Spanish, and French fluently, as well as some Italian and Portuguese, making communication easy and welcoming for guests from around the globe.
