6-Day Morocco Tour from Agadir | Desert & Marrakech

Day 1: Agadir – Taroudant – Talioune – Agdz

Warm greetings and welcome! Begin your journey with a friendly pickup from the airport or your accommodation. Leave the sunny coast of Agadir behind and travel inland, where new landscapes and adventures await.

Your first stop is Taroudant, often called the “Little Marrakech,” with its ancient walls and lively markets. Continue through Taliouine, known as the land of red gold(saffron) before stopping in Taznakht, a town famous for its beautiful rugs and carpets.

After lunch, the road carries you deeper south through ever-changing scenery to the stunning Draa Valley. End the day in Agdz, surrounded by palm groves and the spirit of the desert, and enjoy a sweet night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Agdz – Nkob – Rissani – Merzouga

After breakfast, begin the day with a visit to the ruins of Tamnougalt Kasbah, offering breathtaking views over the Draa Oasis. Continue your adventure through changing desert landscapes, passing by Nkob and Tazzarine, small towns rich with charm.

Pause for lunch in a peaceful local restaurant.

By afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where a gentle walk leads you to the golden dunes. Here, enjoy pure moments of tranquility in the clean, silent Sahara, refresh your spirit, and watch a breathtaking sunset paint the horizon.

Experience the magic of the desert with a restful night in a kasbah hotel.

Day 3: Explore Sahara – Nomads – Khamlia – Tisserdmine – Luxury Camp

It is highly recommended to wake up early and witness the magical sunrise over the Erg Chebbi

dunes, a truly breathtaking sight.

Return to your kasbah for breakfast. Then, explore the Merzouga region on an off-road excursion, following the iconic Paris-Dakar rally route.

Our first stop is Khamlia village, where you’ll experience the vibrant rhythms of Gnaoua music, a testament to the village’s sub-Saharan heritage. We’ll then explore an abandoned mine, a relic of the French colonial era, and visit nomadic families who still live in traditional tents. Share a cup of tea and learn about their unique lifestyle.

Afterward, we’ll journey to Tissardmine Oasis for a tranquil lunch in the middle of the desert’s charm.

Return to your kasbah and prepare for an unforgettable camel trek to a luxury camp in the heart of the Sahara dunes. As the sun sets, you’ll arrive at your camp, enjoy a delicious dinner under a starlit sky, and spend the night in a comfortable nomadic tent.

Day 4: Merzouga – Rissani – Erfoud – Todra Gorge – Dades Gorge

After a flavorful desert breakfast at your camp, ride your camel back to Merzouga to meet your 

driver. 

We’re back on the road, heading to Rissani. We’ll visit the Moulay Ali Cherif Mausoleum and then the famous traditional market, where locals still trade donkeys, sheep, goats, and camels. 

A quick stop in Erfoud allows us to see incredible fossils polished by local artisans. 

Then, we head to the amazing Todra Gorge, a top spot for climbers. After lunch, you can take a walk among the towering cliffs or enjoy tea with the locals. 

Our journey continues through the Dades Valley, the Valley of a Thousand Kasbahs, with its unique rock formations called Monkey Fingers. 

We’ll end the day at a valley-view hotel, surrounded by the peaceful beauty of the valley.

Day 5: Dades Gorge – Ouarzazate – Ait Ben Haddou – High Atlas Mountains – Marrakech

Following breakfast, we will journey to the Rose Valley in Kelaat M’Gouna, famous for its rose growing and rose water production. The city hosts a celebrated rose festival each May.

We then proceed towards Ouarzazate, where we will visit Atlas Studios, often referred to as “Morocco’s Hollywood,” where many international movies were filmed. 

After lunch, we will explore the fortified Kasbah Ait Benhaddou, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of Morocco’s architectural treasures. It has been featured in numerous famous films and series, such as Lawrence of Arabia, Gladiator, Indiana Jones, Game of Thrones…

In the afternoon, we’ll journey through the scenic Tizi N’Tichka pass in the High Atlas Mountains, stopping for photos and fresh mountain air.

By late afternoon, we’ll arrive in Marrakech for a smooth drop-off at your accommodation.

Rest comfortably in a riad adorned with traditional Moroccan architecture.

Day 6: Guided Walking Tour in Marrakesh – Agadir

After breakfast, explore Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the towering Koutoubia Mosque, the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, the Saadian Tombs, Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Madrasa school. 

After lunch, and depending on your schedule, if your holiday ends in Marrakech, you may still enjoy a visit to the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum in the afternoon before we escort you to your accommodation or the airport.

If your final destination is Agadir, we’ll ensure a smooth and timely transfer to your hotel or the airport.
