11-Day Morocco Tour from Agadir | Atlas, Sahara & Cities

Day 1: Arrival in Agadir 

After a warm welcome at the airport, we’ll take you directly to your accommodation, where you can settle in.

You’ll have the morning to relax and explore at your own pace! You might like to start with a relaxing walk along the beach promenade or simply unwind by the sea. With its miles of golden sands and famously sunny weather, Agadir is the perfect place for sunbathing or enjoying a refreshing swim if the weather allows it.

For lunch, we highly recommend trying the fresh seafood at one of the city’s charming seaside restaurants.

For a touch of adventure, take a scenic cable car ride to Kasbah Oufla, where breathtaking panoramic views of the city and the Atlantic Ocean await.

As the day draws to a close, enjoy a peaceful moment by the ocean or a gentle walk along the shore, watching the sun set over the Atlantic as the waves provide a soothing soundtrack.

End your day with a restful night in a comfortable hotel.

Day 2: Agadir – Taroudant – Talioune – Ouarzazate

Leave the sunny coast of Agadir behind and travel inland, where new landscapes and adventures await. Your first stop is Taroudant, often called the “Little Marrakech,” where ancient walls and lively souks reveal the spirit of authentic Morocco.

After a delicious lunch, continue through Taliouine, the capital of saffron, a region known for its colorful fields and stunning mountain scenery. 

As the day unfolds, the road leads you toward Ouarzazate, the cinematic gateway to the desert. Here, settle in for a peaceful night in a comfortable hotel, ready for the adventures ahead.

Day 3: Ouarzazate – Boumalne Dades – Todghra Gorges – Merzouga Desert

After breakfast, visit the famous Atlas Studios, where many iconic films were brought to life. Continue east through scenic valleys, enjoying the breathtaking mountain landscapes around Boumalne Dades, where you can stretch your legs with a short hike and take in the fresh air.

Pause for lunch in the spectacular Todra Gorges, surrounded by towering cliffs that rise dramatically on either side. Enjoy some time to walk and explore this stunning natural wonder before continuing your journey through ever-changing desert landscapes.

By afternoon, you’ll arrive in Merzouga, where a gentle walk leads you to the golden dunes. Here, enjoy pure moments of tranquility in the clean, silent Sahara, let your spirit unwind, and watch a breathtaking sunset paint the horizon.

Experience the magic of the desert with a restful night in a kasbah hotel.

Day 4: Explore Sahara – Nomads – Khamlia – Tisserdmine – Luxury Camp

Awaken early to witness the breathtaking sunrise over the dune. Following breakfast, we drive off-road to explore Merzouga region, visit nomads, see Khamlia’s Gnawa music, and enjoy the Sahara’s peace.

Afterward, we’ll journey to Tissardmine Oasis for a tranquil lunch in the middle of the desert’s charm.

In the afternoon, ride camels through Erg Chebbi’s dunes, a must-do in Morocco. Arrive at a luxury camp for dinner under the stars and spend a night in a luxury nomadic tent.

Day 5: Merzouga Dunes – Erfoud – Midelt – Cedar Forest – Ifrane – Fes

Witness an unforgettable sunrise over the dunes before enjoying breakfast at your camp. Then, return to Merzouga by camel or 4WD car, as you prefer. 

We set off towards Fes, traversing the desert landscapes of Erfoud and Errachidia. A pause for panoramic views of the Ziz Valley reveals a stunning tapestry of palm groves and ancient kasbahs.

Our journey continues to Midelt, situated between the Atlas Mountains and the Sahara, and famed for its apple production.

After a delightful lunch, we proceed towards Ifrane, the ‘Switzerland of Morocco,’ with its Alpine architecture and pine forests. Keep an eye out for Barbary apes along the way.

Finally, we arrive in Fes, where you’ll settle into your riad within the ancient Fes Medina.

Day 6: Guided Walking Tour Around Fes Medina

After breakfast at your riad, you will explore Fes, one of Morocco’s most historically significant cities, with a full day of sightseeing. Visit the University of Al Karaouine, the oldest educational institution, the Mellah, the old Jewish Quarter, and Bab Boujloud, the gate of Medina.

Walk through the Fes Medina, a UNESCO site, and see the Bou Inania Madrasa and the Tanneries. Enjoy a traditional lunch before exploring the city’s architecture and souks(market).

Following a beautiful day of adventure and charm, we will transfer you to your riad, ensuring a peaceful end to your remarkable day.

Day 7: Fes – Meknes – Volubulis – Chefchaouen

Following breakfast, your 11-day Morocco itinerary continues towards Meknes, an imperial city and UNESCO site. Discover its highlights, including the monumental Bab Mansour Gate, the historic Medina, the Sahrij Souani basin, and the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail. 

Next, we journey to the ancient Roman ruins of Volubilis, an open-air museum with mosaics.

After a delightful lunch, we travel to Chefchaouen, the blue city in the Rif Mountains. Spend the evening walking the streets, shopping, and dining.

Day 8: Chefchaouen – Rabat

After a delicious breakfast, we set off toward Rabat, Morocco’s elegant capital. The day will be dedicated to exploring its major landmarks, including the Royal Palace, the historic Hassan Tower, and the Mausoleum of Mohammed V, where history and elegance blend beautifully.

Enjoy a tasty lunch at one of the city’s top restaurants.

In the afternoon, we will wander through the Kasbah of the Udayas. Its charming blue-and-white alleys and stunning ocean views offer the perfect way to soak in the capital’s unique atmosphere.

Day 9: Rabat – Casablanca – Marrakech

Following breakfast, we set off toward Marrakech, with a special stop in Casablanca to explore the Hassan II Mosque; a breathtaking masterpiece of Moroccan architecture and one of the largest mosques in the world. 

After some free time for lunch, we continue our journey south to the vibrant Red City of Marrakech.

Upon arrival, feel the city’s unique energy as you explore at your own pace. Stroll through the famous Jemaa el-Fnaa Square, alive with storytellers, musicians, and street performers, offering an authentic taste of Marrakech’s lively spirit.

End the day with a restful night in a traditional riad, adorned with charming Moroccan architecture.

Day 10: Sightseeing in the Medina of Marrakesh

After breakfast, explore Marrakech with a local guide. Visit the Medina, a UNESCO World Heritage site, the towering Koutoubia Mosque, the famous Jemaa el-Fna square, the Saadian Tombs,

Bahia Palace, and Ben Youssef Madrasa school. 

Enjoy lunch in Medina.

In the afternoon, journey to the modern city to experience the beauty of the Majorelle Garden and the Yves Saint Laurent Museum. Return to your charming riad within the Medina.

In the evening, you can independently explore the captivating Jemaa el-Fna square or relax on a terrace, enjoying coffee and traditional Moroccan sweets.

Day 11: Marrakech – Essaouira – Agadir

On your final day, travel west toward the Atlantic coast, where you may spot goats climbing the argan trees, a truly unique sight. 

Stop in the charming seaside town of Essaouira for a quick exploration of its medina and a delicious lunch by the ocean. 

Afterward, continue your journey south along scenic coastal roads until you arrive in Agadir. Here, we’ll provide a smooth drop-off at your hotel or the airport, depending on your plans.
